Upcoming PA Tournaments and Events - Leteef Street   Feb 4

Hello,

Hope everyone is well. I am writing to share information about chess events coming up later this month. Let me know if you have any questions. -- Leteef

Rated tournament in Carlisle - My next chess tournament will be in Carlisle on Saturday, February 21st. More information and advanced registration is available at the following link.

A reminder that a couple things are different for my Carlisle tournaments from my recent tournaments in Hershey: The start times are earlier (At site registration at 8:30 AM, Round 1 at 9:30 AM) and faster time control (G/25, d/5). These changes are due to a difference in the time in which the space is available in Carlisle.

Upcoming Championship tournaments - The Pennsylvania State Open and Scholastic Chess Championships are returning to Central PA at the Red Lion Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel on the first weekend of March! Information is available on the State Federation website. Online registration is now available at the following link: https://pscfchess.org/pascholasticchamp/. Anyone interested in representing the Hershey club in scholastic sections, can enter my club code "CPA-Hershey".

Our local Central PA championship is returning to the Camp Hill Giant on the first weekend of April. More information and advanced registration can be found below for that tournament as well.

2026 Pennsylvania State Open and Scholastic Chess Championships - Weekend, March 7-8 (Quick side event on March 6th)

2026 Central Pennsylvania Championship (including scholastic on Saturday) - Weekend, April 4-5 at Camp Hill Giant

Upcoming local chess events in February*

* Harrisburg West Shore Chess Club in Camp Hill also runs regular tournaments, which I will share information on when I have it. I recommend signing up for their club email list so that you can get the information as soon as they send it
