Upcoming PA Tournaments and Events - Leteef Street   Jan 8th

Hello,

A reminder that my next rated chess tournament will be in Carlisle this Saturday, January 10th. More information and advanced registration is available at the following link:

A couple things will be different for this tournament than my recent tournaments in Hershey: The start times are earlier (At site registration at 8:30 AM, Round 1 at 9:30 AM) and faster time control (G/25, d/5). These changes are due to a difference in the time in which the space is available in Carlisle.

Scholastic chess league at Derry Township Community Center - Our first season of the scholastic chess league in Derry Township was a success, so we are planning another season for Winter 2026, which will start this Monday, January 12th. More information and registration can be found at the following link: https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/derry/activity/search/detail/4947?onlineSiteId=0&from_original_cui=true

Adult chess class at Derry Township Community Center - On the heels of the successful first season of the scholastic chess league in Derry Township, I have been asked to run an adult chess class at the community center. This will also be on Monday evenings and will start on January 26th. More information and registration should be available on the Derry Township community center website shortly.

Scholastic chess league at Harrisburg West Shore Chess Club - I am also partnering with the Harrisburg West Shore Chess Club in Camp Hill to bring a scholastic league to their community. This will be a similar format to my league in Derry Township.
