USCF Announcements of Nearby Events

The Delaware Chess Association will be holding the Delaware State Open Championship March 8th and 9th.  Details are found here. Last year, there were 82 players in the tournament.  There are three sections: Open, U1600, and U1200.

Upcoming PA Tournaments and Events - Leteef Street

Central Pennsylvania Scholastic Grand Prix (NEW!!!)

This is a new contest sponsored by the Central Pennsylvania Chess Association, a group of local chess organizers in the region. Scholastic players can now win Grand Prix prizes for themselves and their school / club through participation in designated tournaments. The first season begins later this month and runs through May. Find out more about the Grand Prix, which events' results will count toward it and prizes young players can win. The document with information about Season 1 is attached. CPA Online tournament 

I am planning another CPA online tournament, which will begin on Friday, March 7th. (This tournament involves playing one long tournament game online per week for the duration of the tournament)  Entry fee is $10 per player. Registration is due by Wednesday, March 5th. The entry fee for this event can be submitted via Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or PayPal. Contact me with questions or for other options for submitting the entry fee.
